Sydney Olympic Park Archers are based at the Sydney Olympic Archery Centre, host venue of the archery events for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. The club offers members some of the best target archery facilities available in the country and is open to members for shooting 7 days a week. Regular club shoots are held each weekend with a variety of other social and competitive events offered throughout the year.

Ben and Elisa win $1000 each in Keeping The Flame Alive
Ben and Elisa have won the Keeping The Flame Alive Tournament to take home $1000 each in one of Australias richest cash prize events. Competition results can be found here
Elisa wins an Olympic spot for Australia
Elisa has won the Womens Oceania CQT to gain a place for Australia to compete in Archery at the London Olympics. Well done!
2012 Youth Champions
SOPA was well represented at the 2012 Youth National Championships held in Armidale NSW last week.
A special congratulations to Sean Pianca who won the Best All Round Compound Division. Well done Sean, a splendid effort and great shooting throughout the tournament. Mat Tonowicz also did well coming in third place.

Elisa Wins Hoyt Easton Australian Open
Congratulations to Elisa Barnard who has won the 2011 Hoyt Easton Australian Open which is Australias only world ranking event held at a winery in McLaren Vale in South Australia. Elisa showed remarkable form under match play pressure from Australias elite women archers. She also received another gold in the womens teams event. Our President also collected a bronze medal in a close contest in the mens team match play.
